Classroom Teaching and Research
On the afternoon of March 17th, the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group of the Primary Section held a seminar on classroom teaching in the joint classroom.
At the beginning of the meeting, Yang Yu, the leader of the teaching and research group, discussed with the teachers the characteristics and importance of the Morality and Rule of Law course in the Primary Section, and unified their understanding of this course.
Furthermore, the class evaluation activity was conducted concerning the demonstration lessons of the Ethics and the Rule of Law from the top teachers Qian Jun and Wang Qingqing. Six teachers led the review, and they prepared meticulously, and respectively gave fair assessment to the teaching design and teaching method of Qian Jun's ‘We Have Spirit’ and Wang Qingqing's ‘Multiculture and Diverse Charm’. On one hand, teacher Qian Jun actively created the situation for the first grade students' actual situation, and respectively selected four situations such as ‘flag raising, studying, singing and reading’ so that tudents could experience and feel the concrete performance of spirit from all aspects. In addition, Qian Jun showed the photos for comparison to let the students understand the significance of sitting posture and standing posture for good health and good mental outlook. On the other hand, Ms. Wang's class set up a stage suitable for Grade 6 students to showcase themselves and communicate with each other. Specifically, starting from their own interests, students used various methods to show the materials they collected outside the classroom and what they gained from their study. Thus, the classroom atmosphere was relaxed and active.
To sum up, with the demonstration and guidance of high-quality open classes and the detailed analysis of wonderful comments, teachers keep learning and surpassing in a positive teaching and research atmosphere.
